Traditional Marquee Wedding in Cheshire

weddings

Today I’m sharing some lovely photos of Sarah and Jonathan’s wedding!

The bridal bouquet consisted of small, white Akito Roses, Ruscus and Gypsophila which complemented the details on the wedding dress and was bound with white ribbon and pinned with pearl headed pins. The bridesmaid bouquet was similar in design but just a smaller version.

The two buttonholes for the groom and the best man were White Roses and traditional in style. The church arch was decorated with a spectacular floral display that reflected the white and green theme of the wedding.

The church screen for the service was also decorated with flowers that were connected with Ivy and Soft Ruscus swaging. Two pedestal arrangements were also used to decorate the inside of the church and were then moved to the marquee reception.

Goldfish Bowl Vases were used to create eight table centres filled with white and green flowers and lots of natural foliage and blooms.

Good afternoon it has been a few days since I have up dated my blog, we have been very busy here, the wedding season is getting underway and I am using the opportunity to update our website and the blog at the same time.

Sara chose her beautiful flowers carefully and used Pinterest to keep us up to date as she saw more and more designs and we translated this to create her dream wedding.  The heart of flowers was my particular favourite.  Hanging over the wedding ceremony and then moved from the Orangerie to the conservatory of her wedding breakfast.  I love pictures better than words so here we are x

February the Fourth! more wedding pictures using Red Roses – this was an Easter Sunday Wedding at Abbeywood Estate in Cheshire.

Wow we were busy on Easter Sunday of all days, a 4pm wedding at Abbeywood Estate was stunning as the frosty sunny day was perfect for photographs and flowers. The theme of this wedding was set by the bride and grooms red camper van!  We looked at seasonal scented flowers and also how to create a contrast between the Bridal and Bridesmaids flowers.

We wanted a domed shape with mainly flower heads, so we chose fat round flowers, roses ranunculi, grebera, narcissi, spray roses and ivy.  The bride carried a 80/20 split of red to white which was reversed for the bridesmaids as you can see below.

I hope you like our posts and we will continue to make more!  Any ideas or questions do message me 🙂  Emma

More red roses for weddings!

Last year we were delighted and had so much fun with Victoria Phipps Photography helping to style and create this sensational shoot at Iscoyd Park, I sent my day in my  ski trousers……..whilst I was still chilly the models were very brave.

More red rose weddings to come!  Emma
