Here are some photos (kindly provided by http://www.davidstubbsphotography.co.uk/) from John and Di’s Wedding at Nunsmere Hall.
The theme for this wedding was classic and sophisticated with purples, cream, and whites. We used purple and white calla lilies, purple double lissianthus, purple hydrangea, purple phlox and ocean song, and avalanche and super bubble roses.
On his blog, David Stubbs wrote:
“Di and her bridesmaids got ready at The Mere Resort before having their wedding service at St Wilfrids RC Church in Northwich. The bridesmaids wore long purple chiffon dresses that worked so well with their subtle Scottish theme. Scottish Thistle was arranged within their bouquets. The flowers were by the very talented Emma Fawcett-Eustace of Cheshire. We all then headed deeper into Cheshire for their Nunsmere Hall wedding reception. The weather was always a little dubious and it was expected to rain later in the day. Just as we finished doing some small family group shots, the heavens opened and it poured down for around 5 minutes. John and Di were still outside at this time and had to dive under one of Nunsmere’s many garden arrangements while an usher sprinted off to fetch an umbrella. It was well worth myself waiting outside in the rain, for their return journey… see for yourself below.”
It was an absolutely fantastic day that I was delighted to be part of!
